SUSSEX CLUBS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE LTD
Affiliated to National Clubs for Young People, SCYP was established in 1939. We are committed to developing a vibrant voluntary and community youth sector which involves, empowers and meets the needs of all young people in Sussex.
Working in the heart of the local community of Fishersgate and supporting young people all over Sussex.
Our free county membership package includes:
• Access to our subsidised, varied activity programme at venues across Sussex
• Annual activities camping weekend
• Accredited training opportunities
• Young Leaders' training residential weekend
• Access to the Lions Club 'Adopt a Youth Club' scheme
• Advice and support
• Networking opportunities with other organisations across the county
• Information cascade regarding activities and events for young people
All SCYP members now have automatic free membership to of National Clubs for Young People and benefits include:
• Eligibility for the competitive CYP club insurance scheme
• Eligibility to enter prestigious CYP national sports championships, ie football,
boxing, pool and table tennis, etc
• Being part of the national network of CYP
• Regular bulletins, publications and resources from CYP
• Training
Membership to Sussex Clubs for Young People is free of charge this year, thanks to the support of West Sussex County Council and East Sussex County Council. For further information and to request a membership form, please contact us.
